Most oval rods share similar outer dimensions (typically 15mm x 30mm), but what really matters is the steel itself. Ours uses a full 1mm wall thickness—adding noticeable rigidity and durability compared to lighter alternatives.

We’ve tested our oval rods under load, and the results are solid:

• 4' span → 1/8" sag
• 5' span → 3/8" sag
• 6' span → 13/16" sag

As with any oval rod, a mid hanger is recommended once you get past about 4.5–5 feet to keep everything feeling tight and well-supported.

It’s worth noting that round rods are inherently a bit stronger due to their shape. But if you prefer the cleaner, lower-profile look of oval, you can choose it with confidence—when properly supported, it performs exactly as it should.
