As robust as our oval closet rods are, if you have an extra-wide span and/or some especially heavy coats to hang, you might need a little more support. That's where Desunia Mid Supports come in.

Real Steel
This little work of art is cast as 1 piece from a mold. This means there are no seams/joints that can create weak points, for better longevity. After cooling, it goes through a multi-step grinding/polishing process to remove any burrs or other imperfections. We take as much time as needed during this phase of production because it really sets the stage for the final finishing process.

Amazing Finish
After getting fully prepped, the next step is to apply a generous nickel plating, and then follow up by painstakingly hand buffing the piece to create the satin effect. Since this process is done entirely by hand, this is where we also practice quality control to ensure you're getting a flawless product. BTW this is the same process we use for satin nickel Desunia closet rods and end brackets, so you can rest assured that all components of your newly designed closet will match beautifully!

Choice of Screws Included
We go the extra mile by providing our customers with 2 different lengths of screws. When going into a standard 3/4" shelf, use the shorter screws, but if the overhead shelf is thicker, break out the big guns for even more holding power!

Installation Tips
Since this mid-support is of fixed length, install the end supports first. Then simply thread the rod through the mid-support before putting it in place. Once the shelf is installed, simply slide the mid support to the desired location and secure it to the underside of the shelf with the provided screws... Done!
